Celebration plays an increasingly significant role in strengthening the social fabric of our culture. Whatever the occasion, a celebration of that event achieves a number of outcomes for the community. First, it  reflects and/or affirms the values of the immediate participants. Second, it fosters a sense of connectedness and ownership for those who witness the event. Third, it makes a statement to the community at large of what we as a society think is worthwhile celebrating and thereby provides ceremonial models for future generations to replicate. 

It isn't any wonder, when celebrations have these outcomes, that more and more people are investing time, effort and resources to celebrate life. In fact the more creative and thoughtful we are in designing our 'celebrations of life', the greater will be our bank of memories and our society will feel better about itself.

For example, couples planning a wedding with the celebrant as a facilitator, have the freedom to create a ceremony that reflects the couples mutual values. The ceremony can include meaningful symbols, creative language, audience participation and can be conducted  in a location that has meaning to the couple either indoors or outdoors. Of course there are some legislative requirements that are mandatory but the ceremony itself can be your special creation.  The celebrant will help you 'invest content' into your ceremony so that the memory will be special for you, your family and friends.

     STEP 1

Contact me to determine my availability for your celebration. At this point I will also advise the total cost for engaging my services together with an explanation of what services are provided for the fee charged. The fee will be inclusive of GST.  (return to client login)

    STEP 2

Complete a  Booking Notice and pay the nominated non-refundable booking fee. Payment of the booking fee secures my services for your ceremony. For your convenience, the Booking Notice can be completed on-line and payment made via bank transfer. (Go here to make an enquiry or request a booking notice)

   STEP 3

Make an appointment to see me either in your home or at a mutual venue. At this appointment, we will get to know one another and discuss your celebration. In the case of a wedding celebration we will complete any legal documentation that is required. I  will also provide you with a resource folder either as a hard copy or via an on-line web access. This resource will assist you and myself in the planning of your celebration. Regular liaison follows, via email, phone or fax to ensure your satisfaction with the proposed ceremony.

For people who live in far away places, interstate or overseas, I follow slightly different processes in order to fulfill my legal responsibilities. Many couples say my processes are 'user friendly' and I am sure you will find the same to be true. Feel free to phone for a chat.
